Gentle 2 is an exquisite knitted stretch velvet upholstery textile by Kvadrat. The textile, designed by Febrik, has a refreshed colour scale that perfectly combines an inviting presence with a luxurious, soft pile. The fabric is expertly crafted by knitting loops through a base layer and then shearing the surface. The result is a subtly striated surface that features a rich texture and an elegant shine, thanks to the naturally irregular thicknesses of the woollen yarns.

Gentle 2 is laminated onto a 2mm thick base foam that gives the fabric a particularly opulent feel and makes it stand out with a voluminous expression, setting it apart from traditional woven velvets. The updated colour palette perfectly complements the soft, comfortable expression of Gentle 2, comprising light pastels and clear bright hues, such as lavender, cream, tangerine, and electric blue.

This exquisite textile offers excellent stretchability due to its knitted construction, which allows it to cling to curves in a particularly elegant way. It is suitable for public and private spaces and is ideal for upholstering organic shapes, as well as any other form.
