Designed in 1965, the CH45 Rocking Chair is part of a larger series designed by Wegner for Carl Hansen & Søn, including the CH44 Lounge Chair, the CH46 and CH47 Dining Chairs and the CH53 Stool which are still in production today. This modern chair carries the elegance of Nordic simplicity referencing the Shaker era, featuring a reclined ladder-back backrest design and envelope woven paper cord seat that echoes through the other designs of the series. Perfectly proportioned, the CH45 Rocking Chair has a dynamic expression for effortless sitting, rocking and rising.
