House of Nimb, Tivoli

Of all Tivoli's famous restaurants, Nimb is the most spectacular. The building, which today contains a number of restaurants and bars, was erected in 1909 in Arabian-inspired style, and designed by Tivoli's architect and director at the time, Arne Knudsen.

In January 2018, Omar’s Place – a new restaurant and cocktail bar replete with innovative design – immediately established itself as a staple in Central London’s Pimlico neighbourhood.

Kuan Yun Zhai Yu

In 2012, the owner of Kuan Yun Zhai Yu – Shi Qiao – acquired the Meng Shan Tea Factory and decided to convert Kuan Yun Zhai into a tea house and a restaurant where he could promote Meng Shan – one of the oldest varieties of tea in China.

The japanese restaurant Pirouette serves modern French cuisine and combines a bistro, cafe and epicerie (delicatessen) – which sells ingredients and specialties served in the restaurant as well as Pirouette tableware and cutlery.

The Scandinavian Quality Hotels, which are part of Nordic Choice Hotels, have embarked on a major renovation and modernization of the 55 hotels in the Quality chain. The new interior design includes a new restaurant concept called BrasserieX, which is currently planned for 14 of the hotels.

Copenhagen Europe Centre is a center for office rental in Vesterbro, Copenhagen, owned and managed by Aberdeen Asset Management Denmark A/S. The center is housed in the buildings on the corner of Vesterbrogade and Rahbæks Allé where the Bing & Grøndahl porcelain factory.

Since it opened in 2003, Noma (a concatenation of 'Nordic' and the Danish word for food – 'mad') has achieved legendary status around the world. Noma has had two stars in the Michelin Guide since 2007, and has been named best restaurant in the world by Restaurant magazine four times.

The top-ranked Michelin restaurant has chosen Carl Hansen & Søn to set the scene, and the chairs used, CH46, one also finds in the private dining room at Noma in Copenhagen.

A whole new dimension was added to Swedish sausage culture when innovator, gastronome and restaurateur, Ricard Constantinou, opened the Printz restaurant in 2013 in Johanneshov. The restaurant lies in a large new complex named 'Tolv' (Swedish for 12), due to the 12 different restaurants the center houses.

Panini Internazionale is a chain of restaurants created by visionary restaurateur Ricard Constantinou – the man behind a number of exciting eating venues. The Panini chain opened as a delicatessen in 1990, and now comprises 19 restaurants throughout Stockholm

K-Märkt is located in Östermalm, in the large Garnisonen complex, built in several stages during the early 70s. K-Märkt is situated in a modernistic building typical of the era, designed by architect Tage Hertzell.

In June 2014, a new restaurant opened in an exceptional location in Copenhagen. The Tower is located in a 106 meter tall tower (Copenhagen's tallest) at Christiansborg Palace. The palace, as we know it today, is the third one in the same location, as the previous two buildings burned down.

Maaemo – which means 'mother earth' in Finnish – was awarded two Michelin stars a few months after opening, and earned 79th place on the list of the world's best restaurants in 2014.

The National Art Center has 2,000 square meters of floor space, making it Japan's largest art center, with a collection focusing on 20th-century art. Salon de The Rond, the center's spectacular café, is set atop a large inverted cone structure, encircled by the gigantic hall and the building's curved glass facade.

A run-down 80ies building in the heart of Islington was transformed by natural materials and daylight along with a 22 meters tall sculpture, and today the building stands as a modern and thriving office building.

The Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, at the eastern edge of Beverly Hills, opened a hospital extension in 2013. The new Advanced Health Science Pavilion (AHSP), including its interior, was designed by HOK. The new building has 820,000 square feet of floor space, contains laboratories, clinical facilities and seminar and meeting rooms, and forms part of the hospital campus.

Since the completion of the first airport in Kastrup in 1939, designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen, Copenhagen Airport has used the best architects for the numerous building extensions and the best designers for its furniture.

The Nový Dvůr monastery was ready for handover in September 2004, and is currently home to 20 monks. The monastery produces a number of products, including face creams and food products like jam, coffee and mustard, which are exported to several European countries.

Asia House is home to the EAC Foundation, and the basement is used as a cafeteria and meeting area. . The building has a stately outward appearance, with window settings and foundations made of Swedish Ekeberg marble.

Summit House

Note Design Studio re-imagined Summit House, a 1925 building in the heart of London blending a striking Art Deco façade and a pre-functionalist style of modernism called Swedish Grace with Nordic design.

The Angel Building stands as an elegant, modern and thriving office building, and has received more than 20 architecture awards since it opened in 2010. The attractive building had also been fully leased even before the makeover was completed.

In summer 2017 architects Squire and Partners moved their 220 staff to a new home in Brixton, London. Having purchased a dilapidated Edwardian department store two years previously, the practice entirely reimagined the space allowing the existing fabric and layers of history to inform the new design.
