Marble
Materials
Marble - Bianco Carrara
Marble is a 100% natural material with a unique colour and pattern.
Bianco Carrara is a collective term for over 40 large and small quarries in Carrara north of Pisa in Italy. The stone is metamorphosed limestone, which has been transformed into white marble over roughly 200 million years. Carrara marble is a classic stone type that has been used as far back as the Roman period.
General cleaning
For daily cleaning, use a microfiber cloth wrung out in warm water. Use only mild pH-neutral cleaning agents intended for natural stone.
Maintenance
To remove stains, use products intended for marble.
Special precautions
As wet objects such as vases or glasses can leave stains, we recommend to always use a tray or coaster. Immediately remove spilled liquids such as wine, coffee and tea to avoid discoloration of the surface.
Marble is limestone and therefore cannot withstand acidic cleaning agents.
