At Carl Hansen & Søn, we are committed to using only the highest quality genuine cowhide from South America in our products. The unique pattern and appearance of each cowhide make every piece of upholstery that we create one of a kind.
Our cowhide hair is offered in two stunning combinations - black/white and brown/white - and is exclusively available for the CH07 Shell Chair. It's important to note that every hide is distinctive, and the presence of black/white and brown/white colours will vary. Additionally, each hide may differ in colour, pattern, and hair length, due to the natural characteristics of the material.
We pride ourselves on the quality and durability of our cowhide products, which have been tested for hair attachment strength in accordance with BS5131 standards. However, natural materials such as hair may be affected differently in wear, adding to the unique beauty of each piece.
