The Embrace Outdoor Lounge Table displays an untreated FSC-certified solid teak table top in a decorative daisy formation. A steel construction base anchors the design which has been lowered to complement the Embrace Outdoor Lounge Sofa from the same series.
The design studio EOOS, founded by Martin Bergmann (b. 1963), Gernot Bohmann (b. 1968) and Harald Gründl (b. 1967), enjoys a reputation for its poetic approach to design. By employing an analytical approach to the design process, the three designers have created a range of industrial and social designs that have garnered numerous awards and global recognition.
Designed for outdoor spaces
EOOS expands its Embrace Outdoor Series with the Embrace Outdoor Lounge Table. Sharing kinship with the dining table in the collection, this design brings a contemporary expression to outdoor spaces. Comprising three parts, the table is a playful and poetic design inspired by a kite’s floating tether, exploring the interplay between highly durable, untreated FSC-certified solid teak and cool steel wire. A subtle daisy formation table-top is crafted from 43 individually cut pieces of teak, mounted and sanded by hand. Ideal for the outdoors, the dynamic qualities of teak develop as it weathers from a warm orange to an elegant silver-grey. The Embrace Outdoor Lounge Table shares the same light expression as other tables in the wider collection, with a shorter base for use in conjunction with the Embrace Outdoor Lounge Sofa.
